WHO IS RAGS
Rags School of Music was founded in 2021 by Michael Ragonese, a renowned jazz pianist with over 25 years of experience. With a degree in Jazz Performance, multiple music releases, an extensive touring history, and years of teaching experience, Michael equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive as musicians.
OUR TEACHERS
Michael personally selects teachers who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians. Each instructor brings professional experience and a strong educational background, holding music degrees from respected universities while continuing to grow in their careers. Whether students are just starting out, exploring a new skill, or pursuing a career in music, our dedicated instructors are ready to help them achieve their goals.
Mike is amazing. A great player and a great teacher. I've been working with him for almost a year now and I've gone from total beginner to being able to play and improvise over jazz tunes. What's really special about Mike is how customized the lessons are. He listened to my goals and then designed a program for me -- couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.
